Watching the pro

I was lucky enough to tag along tonight for 11 holes with Pete the club pro and Stephen who was having a playing lesson. Watching Pete work around the course is really an education and your tempo always improves for a while after seeing his easy powerful swing.

I managed to play quite well despite a few chip outs following misdirected drives, and one out of bounds with my 3 wood.

I scored 51 for the 11 holes including one birdie from 5 greens in regulation, & 21 putts.

I'm getting to the stage that I would like to play a medal again :D

More short game practice planned for the rest of the week, I was thinking about going up to the Loch Lomond European tour event on Wednesday/Thursday, but the weather forecast is not good so I will stay home and play golf instead!
